When a datapoint is missing (e.g. the response time of a HTTP check when it times out), this is visible in the Availability view of that service. When plotting this service in a graph, the missing values are interpolated by - if I am not mistaken - the first value when the service is sending data again. In other words: The outage is not visible in a graphical display, instead it is shown as a plateau of an unsuspicious value.
Is it possible to get a better representation? I.e. a gap in the graph?
