Missing information in the configuration of grafana

I have been checking the web configuration of the url Integrating Checkmk in Grafana
The configuration related to the connection between Grafana and Checkmk via https is missing, without that the connection to the datasource cannot be established.

Best regards

what do you mean? Not sure I understand

Hi, in the Grafana documentation you put in the URL you don’t specify what configuration you have to do if the connection is via https, giving problems to people trying to integrate the CheckMk plugin in grafana. I attach a screenshot and the answer you have given me. Greetings and thank you very much

We are still unsure, what the exact problem is. Mainly, because the answer is still open: Are you using a self-signed certificate? Did you add it to your system CA certificates?

If the assumption of @BenediktSeidl is correct: Using a certificate that cannot be trusted is a security problem and in general we do not want to boost running a compromised connection.
Anyway, this is addressed also in this feature request: Grafana SSL Adding option - Checkmk

Hello, the certificate is issued for an internal unit of the organisation, and both Checkmk has a certificate and Grafana and are authorised directly by the same certifying body of the company, the problem I see is that when you want to connect from Grafana to Checkmk via https you do not have it documented and I think this would be useful for other users who implement this option, that is beacuse I commented that it would be interesting if you could add it in the document that you present.

Greetings and thank you very much
