Mk_mongodb issues after check_mk 2.0 upgrade

After upgrading to Check_mk 2.0, I have been running into an issue regarding the mk_mongodb plugin. Having previously resolved an authentication issue within the plugin, everything was working fine before the upgrade and agent output was being received by the monitoring server.

After the upgrade however, I am receiving this error upon doing a service discovery:

Error running automation call try-inventory (exit code 2), error:

Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)

When I execute the check locally on the database server, I am getting normal output as before I did the check_mk upgrade.

Can anyone provide some insights please?

I had the same issue, until I updated the mk_mongo.py script.
