Hi,
I was able to set up Azure monitoring with all it’s nuts and bolts, that was pretty straight forward and works as designed i would say. My problem now is that i have a VNET Gateway and an associated Azure ExpressRoute connection. I want to monitor the availability of this ExpressRoute and the incoming / outgoing traffic and incorporate that into my NagVis cloud networks map.
Unfortunately i wasn’t able to get the ExpressRoute data into Checkmk, so my question now is: Is this already supported? I fear that it’s not supported… If not, maybe someone has a good idea of how to incorporate that (external datasource program?).
BTW, creating hosts using DCD is a bit problematic for us as it seems that Checkmk assumes that Azure resource groups always have non clashing names. This is only true for one Azure subscription, and we have hundreds of them so names will clash here. I know that i can rewrite the hosts using DCD but then i would get more then a hundred DCD configurations, dont know how this may impact performance.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards
Sebastian
