Does someone monitor GRE tunnels on their cisco switches ?
You can have a look at the Cisco checks of my colleague if there is something inside you need

Download-URL: https://thl-cmk.hopto.org
Files: checks(1) web(2)
Description:
Monitors Cisco VPN Tunnel. Complete rewrite of the original check.
Creates one service for each VPN Tunnel.
perfdata contains: IKE and IPSec statistics for uptime, in/out octets and packets.
@Alco what do want to monitor exactly? The Interface as such or somthing else? If you only want to monitor the interface i guess you need to change/create a interface discovery rule and add “131 - tunnel” to the discovered interface types.
One thing about the cisco_vpn_tunnel, this is still for pre CMK 2.0 versions and not yet testet with version 2.0.
Thanks, Yes I want to monitor the status if it is up or down
ext>sh ip int brief tunnel 1
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status Protocol
Tunnel1 172.16.1.1 YES manual up up
Yes that was it, after enabling this rule all the interfaces became visible
