Monitoring linux kernel parameter net.core.somaxconn

We received a ticket form our provider - he is monitoring our checkmk server with a different tool. The ticket says
-Number of backlog connections for port 6558 (current:118) reach 90% of kernel hard limit (net.core.somaxconn=128).
Now I really wonder why checkmk is not monitoring this value. We have a standard agent deployed and I assumed that checkmk is monitoring the most important OS parameters. Obviously this value seems not to be in the very important parameters list. This is quite strange as the application checkmk sems to be very close to the maximum of this value.
