Monitoring Proxmox

CMK version: Checkmk Raw Edition 2.5.0-2025.11.04
OS version: Proxmox 9.1.1

Every link I can find says create a Proxmox agent rule by going to Setup > Agents > VM, cloud, container > Proxmox VE … but no such page exists in CheckMK:

What am I missing?

Example links:

Please keep in mind that you are using a daily alpha build of the next major CMK version.
I don’t know if there is some rework going on for the Proxmox integration or if it is only some renaming.

Inside the current stable 2.4 version the Proxmox integration can be found at the expected location.

Ah okay, that’s interesting. I don’t have time to downgrade via a backup right now, so will have to hope it re-appears in the next 2.5 daily (thought it appears there haven’t been any for a couple of months!)

I checked today the daily build of the CMK 2.5 and the Proxmox intergration was available there.
Only difference here is that i used the “Ultimate formerly known as Cloud” edition.

Hi,
builds are made daily.
How have you been checking for a new version?

I search for latest image by going here:

Then I go to Tags, and search for “2.5”… It says latest image is checkmk/check-mk-raw:2.5.0-2025.11.04

How do I get later ones?

For 2.5 builds you need to look into –> check-mk-community (formerly known as RAW)^^

The important tag then is “master-daily”

docker pull checkmk/check-mk-community:master-daily

He he - I had missed the change from “raw” to “community”. But I’ve got it now, and yes in the latest image version Proxmox rule is back! So I have a Proxmox server up and detected OK now, thanks for all help. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
