Monitoring URLs from within a network/building

Is it possible to configure URL checks from within a specific building/Network?

hi
I think you need to explain what you mean here,.

I want to monitor the uptime of a website but specifically to check this access from within a specific building (i.e behind a VPN, on a specific Network, not just testing externally if the website is up or not).
Is this possible using the built in URL checks or I presume maybe need to look at Synthetic monitoring to do this?

so you have a checkmk server behind the VPN or network? or how would there be a way to create a connection from that network???

The checkmk server is in azure. By putting the agent with a rule on a computer from that building? But I can’t see any url agent rules.

url checks needs to be run from the server (in azure)
you need to have a local check, have you checked the checkmk exchange? there are some local http checks there!

You can have a look at my cURL agent plugin (latest version here). This is intended to mointor URLs from the perspektive of the client system.
