Moving Server with Raw Edition 2.1.0p9

Hi,

I would like to move from my ESXI to Proxmox with CheckMK.

Does anyone know if the backups of the Raw Edition 2.1.0p9 version are compatible with the current Raw version 2.3.0p18? Or should I rather use 2.1.0p48?

Hi Mirjka,

backup and restore only work with the exact same checkmk version. So if you want to migrate without updating checkmk at all, you will also need 2.1.0p9 at the target.
If there is no support for the new operating system, you can update the old environment as high as possible and then migrate to the same version on the target.
