MSSQL Active Check SSL Encryption

When trying to connect to an MSSQL server configured for SSL encryption using the rule ‘Check SQL Database’, I seem to be getting the following error.

Error while connecting to database: 20002, b’DB-Lib error message 20002, severity 9: Adaptive Server connection failed (node1.fqdn.co.uk:1433) ’

This works fine without enforced encryption on the sql server.

Is there a way to have the active check connect with forced encryption in place?
