The script mssql.vbs as delivered by Checkmk agent is very nice, thanks. We have face some issues with the log backup check.
Example:
We have start monitored the backups of an MSSQL database. The database is set to use FULL backup and the script mssql.vbs also check what type the backup is and also check the log files.
Problem:
When the database need to change backup type to simple the mssql.vbs not update the backup of logs files because MSSQL send out the last date of the backup. This give us alarms of a backup method we not use any more. Please make the script mssql.vbs check if the backup metod is simple, if do not check last date of log files.
