Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) / Azure AD Integration (Directory Type Connection)

Hi there,

Is check_mk currently supporting integration to Azure AD (Directory Type Connection) ?
I mean ex if we could logon in the check_mk via an Azure AD user but still managing its role level on check_mk WATO - CONFIG / Users?

We were wondering if it is possible so that we could also use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) feature / Azure AD in check_mk as part of our centralized auth method.

What should work is the usage of the Azure AD DS like it is a normal ActiveDirectory with secure LDAP.
The part what i not know is the MFA thing if this will work in such a setup.
With the normal AD connection it should be possible to manage your roles like it is with a other LDAP connection.

You would have to change the apache auth to support SAML v2, it’s not impossible but not really worth the time i think
