NagVis map configuration

Hi,

i would like to create a (nagvis) map with muliple hosts from different sites. In the map configuration menu → Obj. Defaults i can select one of the sites in “backend_id”. As i select one of the sites i can create the hosts from this single site on the map. I would like to create hosts from multiple sites on this single map though.

Anyone know if this is possible?

You can add multiple backend_id in NagVis, only 1 will be default.
When you add a host on the map it will be the default backend_id, but you can check and change backend_id if you please.

Not sure if or how to configure Checkmk so it sees the other sites.

thanks for the hint. :+1:

First time for me working with nagvis maps. I didn’t know there was an option to change the backend id when creating an object on the map. The other sites are visible as backend_id’s in our configuration.
