No graphs after omd restart

OS version: Debian 11

Description:
After omd was restarted (systemctl restart omd) my checkmk-site hasn’t shown graphs on any chart - nether on grafana or checkmk itselfs. So I updated the site. The decision to update checkmk was make because of thought that it could solve the issue.

What I did:

  1. created backup of site with version 2.0.0.p14 (with ‘Do not backup historical data’ enabled)
  2. restored the backup to a new site: omd restore newSite backup.tar
  3. updated the new site to 2.1.0 and then to 2.2.0p21 - now, on the new site, I can see all graphs on the charts, even on grafana
  4. updated the original site with same steps to 2.2.0p21 - I am still not able see any graphs
  5. at last I did step 1&2 again (on the original site), but am still not able to see any graphs (I thought the issue reason must be due the option ‘Do not backup historical data’ after it worked on step 3)

Hi.

Did you check if two rrd rules placed in Main. Sometimes this rules get lost.

I don’t use any rule for RRD.

That could be the problem in 2.2. Please add a rule for host rrds and one for service rrds.
