No graphs are generated for new hosts and services after a upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1

CMK version:
2.1.0p41
OS version:
Ubuntu 20.04

Error message:
no error

I hope someone can help me. Yesterday I updated my checkmk instance from 2.0 to 2.1 and unfortunately no new graphs are generated. Existing graphs are updated well as far as I can tell.
I hope somebody can help me fix it.
Thanks a lot.

did anybody have a clue?

Is it an RAW or Enterprise version of CMK?
You say existing graphs are updated, that means rrdcached should run without problem. If you use the RAW edition you can have a look at the folder “~/var/pnp4nagios/” for the log files there. For enterprise edition you should find some clues inside the core log as the core generates the rrd files there.

I’m using the RAW edition.

Thank you for the hint. In this log I’m getting constant error messages like this in the npcd.log:

I also noticed that this seems to be the source of my CPU load on the server, but it’s just a guess atm.
