I reevaluated the behavior and yes this seems to be a bug. When I switch to “Smart Ping” for “Host Check Command” I get the notifications back as expected. But we need some already existing check to be used for Host Availability. Is there an easy fix with still using the “Use the status of the Checkmk Agent” option or do I have to hope for a fix in some upcoming version?
