Notification Alerts for High CPU Usage

Hello,

Does anyone know how to set up an email alert for when a windows machine is sat at 95% CPU usage for 15 minutes or more?

Hey Connor,
there are many ways to realise this.

I recommend you to make yourself familiar with the basic concepts of alerting and notifications and then you can go to Setup > Services > Service monitoring rules > CPU utilization on Linux/UNIX and create a rule there to create an average over 15 minutes and set the threshold to either warning or critical to 95%.

Hi Simon,

I was having issues with setting up of the alerts for when CPU Utilization hits critical and warning levels. The fake check results were not working and the notifications were not picking this up.

It turns our that the agent was on a different version to the server therefore CPU utilization alerts were not being retrieved from the client agent.

Now that the agent on the client and server are the same version - CPU utilization alerts are now working.
