Notification: In Timeperiod - after one hour - every 2 days

Hi,

I thought that would be quite easy to configure, but it seems not to be so.

I’d like to have a notification which is sent …

  • … with one hour delay (no problem with that)
  • … only when in notification period (no problem with that)
  • … when the notification periods begins - the notification should be sent, when the state is still critical (HOW TO DO THAT?)
  • … repeatedly every 2 days (no problem with that)

I assumed the notification will automatically be sent, when the notification timeperiod starts.

A possibility I do not like is disabling the check completely via “check period” rule. I’d like to have the performance data 24x7.

At the moment I activated the notifications 24x7.

Is there a way to have those states notified as soon as the notification time periods starts?

By enabling this option notifications will be bulked only if the specified time period is active. When the time period ends a bulk containing all notifications that appeared during that time will be sent. If bulking should be enabled outside of the time period as well, the option “Also Bulk outside of time period” can be used.
