Notification Settings - Getting Green Notifications

CMK version: Checkmk Raw Edition 2.2.0p7 Docker
OS version: Debian 11

Hey Folks,

I need your help cause I can’t find the cause of it. Since I’m not using that powerfull hardware I get often timeouts or other Warnings that goes away after one minute. Therefore I created a rule that delays service notifications for 5 minutes. This works fine and I don’t receive them, but when this service turns green, a notification gets send out. Is someone able to tell me what I’m missing there? :smiley:

Use the “maximum number of check attempts” instead of the notification delay Basic principles of monitoring with Checkmk - Understanding Checkmk terms :slight_smile:

this way, your service never reaches a HARD State that would trigger a notification.
