Hello, I’m new to check_mk and I would like to know , without solutions out of the box if the only modem that works to use notifications via sms directly with API without smstools is the only option that appears on the GUI as shown in the next image.
Hi there, you might also find some other options at https://exchange.checkmk.com/ when you search for SMS.
Alternatively you might want to try SIGNL4 as an app-based alerting service integrating with Checkmk and supporting push, SMS and voice call alerting. It can also monitor the network connection (web check, heartbeats) to make sure you get an alert when the Internet connection is down.
