Our knowledge team and @mschlenker have another update on how to make your Checkmk learning experience even more convenient – now, if you have no internet connection at your station, you can still fully benefit from the Checkmk documentation.
From now on you can download the whole Checkmk documentation and use it fully offline. This version has fully functional search, relative links and allows for switching between languages and Checkmk versions. It is completely static.

There are 2 ways in which you can use this offline version:

By deploying it on a local webserver (recommended)

By simply opening the index.html file through the browser. Please not that we only checked it working in the latest Firefox and Chrome and cannot be sure it would work as well in other browsers.
Please note
Due to restrictions to some corporate browser settings, they might not work for everyone. They probably do not work on tablet OS’ at all.
PDF currently is completely out of scope. Building as epub might be considered if there is a significant audience requesting it (see below)
