I have okd 4.x version and i need it to monitor, what type of edition do i need (enterpise or cloud).
Okd is treated as kubernetes or openshift?
Can i install the cloud version on premise?
please for advice

I would be surprised if Okd was explicitly tested, but since they claim to be the community open-shift, I guess you might need the cloud edition.
Openshift monitoring uses the integrated Prometheus in openshift, I guess you can check if Okd has a prometheus setup in the same way and if you can hence follow Monitoring OpenShift.
Either way: cloud edition has a 30 day trial phase, so you can actually test both if the default k8s monitoring way works, and then use the enterprise, or if you need the openshift integration.

we actually built it vs. OKD in the beginning, so I think it will work. Haven’t tested it vs. OKD recently though. You need the Cloud Edition as Gerd said.
