Old and New Interfaces

Good Day

I have been trying to figure our the interfaces and looking at videos to assist me, I encountered that most of the menus have changed, yet in the videos, they refer to older version.
I need to find the following menus from v1.6 as I am using V 2.1.0.

Click on “Sidebar” at the bottom left of your Dashboard, then you should see it in the sidebar. If it is not there, click at the plus-sign at the bottom of the sidebar. There you can add it to the sidebar.

when i click on the side bar, it open on the right have side, when i look at the options available there, there are no options to add this functions.

See the colour changes when clicked?

Now see on the right menu.

I have expanded the menu to see the options available.
