This is not a troubleshooting request, but to help people who may encounter this error in the future. I did not find anything when I experienced it.
OS version: appliance firmware 1.7.8
Error message: “Your device has not enough memory (916224 kB). You need to have at least 2 GB installed.”
Host: Proxmox 8
NUMA is enabled on the CPU to allow for memory and CPU hotplug
It turns out that NUMA was the issue. Once I disabled memory and CPU hotplug and unchecked NUMA, the appliance booted again without issue.
