Possible bug: service summary filter

CMK version: 2.1.0p5 cre
OS version: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

Nothing serious …

(I had this text previously in a duo topic Failed lookup IPv4 DNS but manually split it today, so the other part could be set to solved.)

When I filter my Service problems by Summary, the search parameter gets added in the title of the view: Service problems IPv4.
Cool!

However, when I negate that filter to see other issues, the title doesn’t reflect that, so it doesn’t say: Service problems NOT IPv4, which I kind of hoped.

Also, filtering by Summary by a search parameter seems like the only filter that changes the title of that view. So maybe the bug is that it does that. XD

Did a quick search in the werks to see if this was somehow changed or fixed between my old and current latest version, but couldn’t find it. So perhaps it’s still present in 2.3.

Is that a custom view/dashboard you have?
If so, the title of your dashboard would not change according to filters I think.

It’s a filter on the builtin view svcproblems, and according to Customize > Views it’s not customized.

Since I’m using an old version from the raw edition, Checkmk probably needs a confirmation from an actively maintained version that the bug is still there to start looking into it.

Also, it’s just a display issue, AFAIK not hindering functionality, so low priority. (-;

This afternoon I tested it out in the Checkmk Playground, which uses Checkmk Cloud Edition 2.3.0p11, and same issue is still there.

Messaged a Checkmk Team Member about it already, who will try to have someone look into it. (-:
