We have a Dashboard view and “Balanced Boxes” is chosen in “Basic Layout” in Dashboard view settings.
It doesn’t matter what value I put in “Number of Columns”, it never increase the columns on the page, it is maximum 5, if I put 4 or 5, then it works, but more than 5 doesn’t work.
Are there any settings I can adjust to solve it? Thanks In advance
Judging from the screenshot, your Checkmk version is so old that back then screen resolutions didn’t allow for that many columns.
Just joking, of course! Well, half joking.
I am not sure if this is
a) a bug or a feature, and
b) if it’s a bug, whether it has been fixed. Considering that we have completely reworked the dashboarding in the newer versions, there’s a good chance that this doesn’t exist anymore.
This is a very old version of Checkmk (which one?). The oldest documentation I have access to didn’t mention anything along these lines, but the dashboarding article is also pretty sparse.
So this might be a case for the Checkmk historians.
In any case, this version you are using isn’t being maintained anymore for a long time. So I’d strongly encourage you to upgrade, both for usability and security reasons!
Hello,
Thank ypu for your reply.
We are using v1.6. we are using big monitor, resolution is 4k.
If it doesn’t happen on the latest version, we can upgrade it for sure.
