i have the problem that whenever i set a explicit condition “Folder” in a scheduled downtime for hosts,
it seems that it applies for every Host which isnt part of the specified folder aswell. At least thats what it indicates when im looking on the active rules from other hosts. The Folder doesnt have any Subfolders what so ever.
Is this normal?
Do i have to specify the explicit hosts of each folder?
How do you do this? If i want to set a downtime i have to select a number of hosts with a search or with the selection boxes.
@nev-david are you creating the downtimes with the rule for “Recurring downtimes for services” (or host) - if so, would you mind sharing a screenshot of your rule?

Update 09.09.21:
It seems that checkmk correctly activates the downtime for the hosts inside the specified Folder. I guess its just the GUI, which is displaying it wrong.
