we are using check-mk2.2 , i can see in document below settings are suggested for periodic Notifications?
since default behaviour of Notification is that , notification is sent only once and on state change .i just wish to receive notifications every 20 minutes for (Warn|CRITICAL|UNKNOWN ) if those are not acknowledge or not solved, can the Periodic Notification Rule will solve this requirement ?
While I cannot recommend this approach at all: Yes, the setting will repeat host notifications every 20 minutes. Please keep in mind, that this only affects host states, not service states. If you need the same for services, there is a dedicated rule for that.
