Hi there,

i also wanted to go for a run at the 2.4.0 beta, however when i go to the download-page i dont see a version suited for RHEL-9-based installation/upgrade.

Did i miss something here ?

2.4.0b5 for RHEL 9 is now available for download, but unusable because of some issue with library dependencies that is introduced in that version (looks like some shipped python library requires an older version of libffi).

This problem leads to omd command not working for root and for a site user omd can only perform simple tasks like “omd sites”, “omd versions”, etc. when trying to update a site, it fails again because of the libffi dependency (shipped python libs expecting libffi.so.6 in version 2.4.0b5 but installed is and 2.4.0b4 expected libffi.so.8)

Hey @Glowsome,
Our CI team is currently working on building and uploading the missing packages. They should be there later today.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

@baris.leenders : the RHEL 9 package was already there to download this morning, but the bad news is that the content is unusable…

thanks for reporting it via the beta bug portal @MasopustC
Will be handled in there. Should be fixed with b6 then
