Same issue I have been reporting since BETA :
image

There is an “unremovable” double customers element in the CME edition.

Found an error editing the “Custom sidebar elements”.

If I create a “Custom sidebar element” everything still fits and I can filter on “Host Tags”.

If I then edit the same “Custom sidebar element” then the “Host Tags” filter is bugged and “Host in downtime” loses the setting.

I tested exactly this and had no error. Is it possible that your sidebar element has a second “Hosts” row further down the list?

I think I found a bug:

Downtime notifications are sent, even with disabled Notification of downtimes.
(Yes, the right host is selected at “explicit hosts” and downtime for the host and not a service is scheduled)

Will be fixed with werk #14331 in 2.1.0p3

@paulr282 Do you have notification rules, that trigger, when a downtime is set?

I just found the problem. it was a wrong configuration on my part. The mentioned rule was below the default rule that sends the notifications. Thanks.
