We greatly thank you for using Checkmk and wish you a successful monitoring,

Your Checkmk Team

Dear Checkmk Team,

We’ve noticed that the Python/CPython version bundled with the Windows Agent has not yet been updated to the latest release, 3.13.13, which addresses CVE‑2025‑15467, once again.

Some of our customers enforce a strict zero‑tolerance policy regarding known security vulnerabilities. This means that, if Checkmk does not provide a timely fix or update, these customers may ultimately require us to uninstall Checkmk to remain compliant with their internal security policies.

This situation could eventually result in Checkmk being classified as unreliable, and therefore no longer approved for use within their environments.

Could you please confirm whether an update addressing this CVE is planned, and if so, provide an estimated timeline?

Hi Lars!
