I am on version 2.2.0p3 and it is still not fixed in 2024 for bulk service discovery job!

Relax. Version 2.2.0p3 is quite old.
Have you considered to update to the 2.2.0p20?

So either like mentioned here the documentation is faulty or the product’s API is not reliable.
