Hello.
I have use checkmk for the first time. i can add host (cisco asr 9k) successfully. But some temperature show above 1000 degree. But on the router the highest temp is about 70 degree.
Can any help. Am i missing something?
**CMK version: checkmk/2.2.0p3
**OS version: Ubuntu 20.04

Please check the values of SNMP Temperture with a bulk wolk. Looks like a problem with your cisco SNMP implementation. It could be ther is a missing hardware aso.

Current i am also using another monitoring tools for testing, and it is showing correct temperature (I compare form the cli of the router).
Could you kindly provide a guide as i am very new to this software

Did you check the values in th bulk walk. check MK will get the result from snmp get an evaluate teh value. You see the correct valies for other services of the samesource.
you can run a “cmk --debug -vvvn ” to see what happens during the call.
