Server is monitored for status UP, CheckMK is monitoring for status DOWN

**OS version:**WindowsServer 2016

Currently, I have a problem when the server is monitored by the agent, but the Check_Mk server cannot ping the server, it will DOWN. RAM,CPU monitoring activities show that the operation is still normal. normally and with telegram warning…But the status always says DOWN on the monitor screen of CHECK_MK.

I have discovered the reason is that the server can’t ping it will always say off…When I turn off the firewall to ping, the status says UP… The firewall will always be on and won’t be able to ping so is there any way to monitor the correct status of the server.

you can use agent status as status of host.
Go here:

And change it ot status of checkmk agent

You need to change value from SMART PING to status of Agent:
