Service dependency - only alert if both services are critical

Hi,

I have a HAProxy host with two monitored backends as a service.
Only one backend is active at a time, so one is critical.
Is it possible to only generate an alarm if both backends are unreachable?

Backend 1 = ok
Backend 2 = crit → no alert

Backend 1 = crit
Backend 2 = crit → alert

How does this affect the notification now? Is the BI automatically above the normal alerting of the individual services?

Hi @hamester,
to get notifications for BI aggregations you have to “convert” them to services. Have a look here: https://docs.checkmk.com/latest/en/bi.html?lquery=business#biasservice
