Service Notifications not working

Hi,
I have created specific agent which I put on the server which I want to monitor.
I defined specific condition to get ‘/var/log/messages’
And when I set it up its working fine, alerts are there when I go to Monitoring > Hosts

Now for every Host I have set a contact group of “Testing”

Then I assigned service to contact group

This is my service setup which got a Contact Group

I have tested my slack setup and its working on Node UP/DOWN, but not regarding the log.

However when I go to notify menu when I trigger to generate CRIT LOG , that log is showing under Monitoring> Host however , but notification is not generated, this is my slack rule setup

I tried also something like this but it didn’t seem to work

Would appreciate if someone could Point me out what I’m missing.

Hi , I have tried few different things following the documentation but still couldn’t get logs reporting in slack, or showing in notify section.
Would appreciate if someone could point me, to the right direction what I might be doing wrong.

Hi @ronald_sp,

I don’t see an obvious error in your rules so my suggestion:

remove the conditions while testing and then add them one by one, to figure out which one stops your notification from being created

but more important:
use the analysis feature incl. the replay option as explained here: Notifications - via Email, SMS, Ticketsystems and more
