Hi All,

Is there a way to change a service state from OK to Warn or CRIT based on the Service summary?

For example, I have an SNMP check running and it will either return SNMP OK - “Connected” or SNMP OK - “Disconnected” but in both cases, the service state will be OK, I would like to change the Service State to WARN if the check return Disconnected.

Is this possible at all?

Hi,

existing Checks can you partly change with the rule: “Service state translation”:

But that will not work based on the Summary like you ask. Just on the Status, sadly.

Based on the summary, you can only do with an own self written check, where you control which state is returned.
