SNMP temperature not shown for Cisco 3850 switches

CMK version: 2.2.0p6
OS version: AlmaLinux 9.2

Querying a Cisco 3850 with SNMP yields no temperature data. A similar Cisco 9300 series switch does provide temperature data. There is a generic temperature rule in check_mk but applying it to the 3850 doesn’t change anything. I’ve also seen this page:

but I don’t know how it applies to my situation.

Also, FYI, these switches work under librenms and show temperature data.
