Hey,
our checkmk instance has the event console enabled and is listening for incoming messages via
snmp traps on (udp/162). When testing sending a snmptrap message from the checkmk host itself nothing is being logged and no events/messages are shown in the event console > events page.
Nothing is logged in the OMD[infrastructure]:~$ tail -f var/log/mkeventd.log either.
I confirmed that the host is listening on udp/162 and no local firewall is running.
snmptrap -v 2c -c public localhost '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.2.3.0.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.2.3.2.1 i 123456
Any idea what I’m missing?
