[solved] 503 on notifications after upgrade to cee2.2

CMK version: cee2.2p12
OS version: RHEL7

Error message:
503: Service Unavailable

We did the upgrade from cee2.1 to 2.2 yesterday

  • got rid of the manually installed MS Teams plugin
  • installed the mkp 1
  • configured the Teams Channel with a webhook
  • add a notification rule for teams

No notifications.

I then checked the git of the plugin creator 2 where it said that one has to set a contact in the notification rule which I did.
Now I get the notifications, through email anyway, now also from Teams but I do get failed notifications error for each notification as well. Please see the screenshot for the error message.

Why do the official docs 3 not mention that I have to add a contact, or do I?

MS Teams notifications are now built into Checkmk. There is no need to install the MKP any more. You may need to change the notification rules.

Alright, I removed the MKP now. But I can not believe the 503 error came from that one.

Okay that actually fixed it. Then the error came from the .mkp I believe. Thanks @r.sander
