Status of CheckMK services -> Discovery and other services like ping still crit

Hey guys

I have some devices with a downtime over the night. I would like to make the Host and Serices “OK” - as well when they are offline.

I tried with “Host check command” ← now they are not marked as down hosts
and “Status of the CheckMK services”

But I have still the “Ping”, SSH and Check_MK Discovery Critical. How can I handle this?

hmm for the active Check`s you have to use

and specify the Timeperiod here

Thank you for you reply - but this is not an notification issue (Notifications are disabled for this host). I don’t want to see the Critical services (Ping, SSH and Check_MK Discovery) in my dashboard when the host is down - I want them marked as OK.

If you specify a notification period for a service then active checks of that service will only be done in that period. Please note, that the checks driven by Check_MK are passive checks and are not affected by this rule. You can use the rule for the active Check_MK check, however.
so the last state of the Check will be displayed.

If you set Your periodic downtime overnight so you have these check as okay

If the notification is disabled you can filter your dashboard for all objects with notification enabled.
I do this for our operations team also to divide between more and less important problems. Problems without notifications are only nice to know and the other ones should get an reaction from the operations team.
