Greetings community,
the heat wave isn’t the only thing cooking right now, we have something on the stove too: Network Flow Monitoring!
It’s coming to Checkmk (soon 
) and we want the defaults to fit your real installations, not something we have made up. So we’re now gathering insight into how the scope of flow collection relates to the size of a Checkmk installation, across different environments and network designs.
Important: You don’t need to be collecting flow data today. If you aren’t, that’s just as useful an answer, and the survey routes around the questions that don’t apply.

The survey takes about 5 minutes and asks for numbers you majorly already know, or can look up quickly in Checkmk or on your network devices.
Another note: A couple of weeks ago we posted a call for research participants on network monitoring. That one was an invitation to join a panel for occasional sessions. This one is a different thing: a short survey, all about numbers. The two are separate, so if you already filled in the first, please do this one too.
