We have a few switches (Dell PowerConnect S5232F-ON) that were added and inventoried to our CheckMK Raw 2.1 server while we were still deploying the attached servers. At that time, the servers interfaces were inventoried as “down” and at “0GB/s”.
After provisioning and configuring the host interfaces, they are now connected at 100GB/s (as expected). Now the port interfaces for the servers show up as “(up)CRIT” and “Speed: 100 GBit/s (expected: 0 Bit/s)WARN”
I’ve tried rescanning these switches, but can’t get the interfaces to change to OK status, accepting the UP status and 100GB/s speed.
Short of deleting the switches, which would also delete the history, is there anything else I can do to get CMK to accept the current state of the ports as the known good state?
Unfortunately, it takes about 15 seconds for each service that I click to move to undecided, during which the ability to select the next service is grayed out. With approx 140 interfaces and port groups amongst 4 switches, that’s pretty durn tedious.
Too bad there isn’t an option to select multiple services and then move them as a group to undecided.
Hello,
you need to click on this option.
It should reset all but be aware if you have some service for example down and it should be up (so it is in critical state)and you do this than it will change it state to ok
