Switchport interface description not detected

Hi,

I have a hp 2530g 48 port switch (upgraded to latest aruba version just to be sure) but the description of the interfaces is not detected (nor by description nor by alias). The strange thing is that it works in the 2.0.0 version but not in the latest version for this switch.
The screenshot is from the 2.0.0 version;

Any suggestions

do you have set

in the discovery rules

the Index like in your snapshot is the default setting

Hi,

The index is not the problem, even if you select that then the description is visible on the right but i got it fixed.
I changed the snmp setting from version one to snmpv2 or 3 and then it started to detect the descriptions.

Yes for that it is at least SNMPv2 needed
