Synthetic monitoring query

ok now something really strange is happening, i’m seeing the robot scheduler tasks in cmd launching on MY LAPTOP and not the VM I’m remotely connected to.

The scheduler always runs on the machine(s) you assign the rule to.
On the respective machines, the individual plans run either in the SYSTEM account, or if another user is assigned, in the user’s desktop session.

A general request:
Could you please provide a little more context for your questions?
I haven’t seen any robotmk.json files from you yet (as requested).
Screenshots, logs, etc. are also useful for providing as much information as possible for a question.
Without this, I can always only guess :crystal_ball: and give general advice, which I’m sure won’t be of much help to you.

In this particular case, for example, I cannot help you to identify the error if you do not show me how you configured the Robotmk rule. (From my experience, Robotmk doesn’t do “strange” things by itself  )

Thanks - I am happy to assist!
Simon

I’m starting fresh with a fresh new VM next week.
BUT yes the rule is assigned only to the VM in question I’ve been working on and the cmd popped up on my local laptop!
I’ve no idea how it is doing this. I thought maybe it’s to do with the logged in account but they are different between my laptop and the VM.

But thanks for your help so far and I’m sure I’ll run into issues next week when I start again.
