Hey,
one of our bottlenecks when it comes to creating new monitoring integrations (internally we call this checks & agents) is the person thinking about how we monitor it:
- What metrics to monitor?
- What services to generate?
- What rulesets with which default thresholds?
We are currently searching exactly for a person who likes to do this in my team:
It means working a lot with Checkmk users, going deep into technologies and translating this into something, which our developers can then implement quickly.
We prefer strong technical understanding of IT over product management experience as this is at the intersection to a Solution Engineer role. Checkmk experience is not necessary, we would put the person into a proper Checkmk bootcamp.
