Test New Grafana Datasource Plug-in Version

Hello Community! :wave:

The developer team working on the Grafana plug-in are glad to present its new reworked version: 3.4.0 Beta 2.

It includes a version bump of the Grafana library from version 9 to version 11, other dependecy updates and in the background – e2e tests were rewritten from cypress to playwrigh.
We checked it to the best of our ability and the new plug-in seems to work great. Yet, there might be setups that we could not reproduce, so we’d like to ask you to test the new plug-in while it is in beta and let us know how it works for your setup.

Hi Sara,

Do you think I should upgrade to this version from v3.3.0 running in Grafana v11.3.0 with Checkmk 2.3.0p19.cee?

Hello @shresu !

I asked the team working on the plug-in and in the opinion of my colleague, migrating to v3.3.0 is a must, because otherwise autocomplete function might not work on Checkmk 2.3.0. They would also recommend v3.4.0 beta 2.

I am using v3.3.0 with 2.3.0 now. I think I will wait for the stable version rather than the beta.
