The last months, I worked on an agent plug-in that (hopefully) improves spool file handling. It allows to set buffered/unbuffered mode, do some basic data validation (only spool files starting with an agent section are transferred), allows to specify size limits, checks the age of the target of soft links (not the link itself)…
