We have a critical issue with one of our pollers. We can’t apply any changes because it’s ‘locked’.
We’ve tried:
Manual forced failover to the backup server. Error still remains.
omd stop ; cmk --debug -vvR ; omd start ; cmk --debug --vvR
stopping the service, disabling the service etc.
This is a major roadblock. Any ideas?
is it a Slave Site ???
So try disconnect the Site and reconnect

Please check if there is an old directory and remove this.

thanks, that worked for me.
Looks like the remote site became unresponsive during sync, that’s what probably caused the issue for us.
