Your device provides the information for UPS but it cannot be identified as UPS automatically by CMK.
The CMK systems works the following way.
- fetch “.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0” and “.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0”
- compare this value to the value requested by every check
- try to discover checks that match the fetched values
As your device provides no correct information on this OIDs it is not possible for CMK to find the UPS checks on your system automatically.
With version 2.1 and SNMP devices without correct SysDescrOID it is not so easy to discover services.
